This poultry and egg trade association, established in 1940, provided much information on human nutrition to consumers for more than 30 years. This collection includes Board meeting minutes, financial statements and annual reports for 1945-68. Much egg promotional material, including recorded messages for radio and breakfasts for food editors, was provided between 1957 and 1972. New products research and cholesterol and fat studies along with diet and nutritional cookbooks, are included in these files (1941-73). Reports of the American Home Economics Conferences (1964-71) and the White House Conference on Nutrition (1969) add to the value of this collection. Studies of the effects of diethylstilbestrol treated poultry on humans were made in 1946-66 and the reports are included.
