Introduction

This collection consists of many hundreds of various size black and white glossy photographs depicting the many facets of poultry and the poultry industry during the 1930s and 1940s.

Dr. Salisbury Laboratories, a major producer of poultry pharmaceutics, used this collection to draw from as they published the different editions of Dr. Salisbury Health Messenger, a widely distributed poultry health manual in the 1930-40 era.
